  • 1.4. Website content may be changed without notice.
  • 1.5. Any reliance placed on information obtained through the website is at the user's own risk. The Client is responsible for ensuring that any product, material, service, colour, finish, specification, or other information selected meets their individual requirements before placing an order.

2. DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT

  • 2.1. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Interior Furniture Ltd requires a 50% deposit before the agreed work is commenced, with the remaining 50% balance payable upon completion of the agreed works.
  • 2.2. The deposit secures the Client's order and enables Interior Furniture Ltd to commence the relevant design, procurement, fabrication, preparation, templating, and/or installation work, as applicable.
  • 2.3. The Client acknowledges that once work, materials, fabrication, templating, procurement, or other services have commenced, Interior Furniture Ltd may have incurred costs that cannot reasonably be recovered or cancelled.
  • 2.4. If the Client cancels, withdraws from, or otherwise decides not to proceed with an order after work has commenced, Interior Furniture Ltd reserves the right to retain or recover reasonable costs already incurred, including the cost of materials ordered, work undertaken, design services, templating, fabrication, administration, delivery, and any other services specifically requested by the Client, subject to any applicable rights the Client may have under law.
  • 2.5. Where the Client cancels an order before any substantive work or procurement has commenced, Interior Furniture Ltd may retain £70.00 as an administration fee, where permitted by law.
  • 2.6. Payment of a deposit constitutes confirmation that the Client has received, read, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with the quotation, specification, and any other documents expressly incorporated into the order.
  • 2.7. Payment of the final balance does not waive or extinguish any rights or obligations arising under these Terms and Conditions, nor does it affect any statutory rights or applicable manufacturer warranties.
  • 2.8. The Client shall not withhold payment of any undisputed amount due to Interior Furniture Ltd because of a separate dispute concerning another matter.

3. CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL PRIOR TO PRODUCTION

  • 3.1. The Client may request and receive design work, site surveys, site measurements, planning, preparation, and other services in connection with the proposed kitchen project without incurring the charges set out in this section, provided that the Client subsequently proceeds with the manufacture and/or installation of the kitchen through Interior Furniture Ltd.
  • 3.2. If the Client has requested Interior Furniture Ltd to undertake design work, site services, or other preparatory work and, before proceeding with the manufacture and/or installation of the kitchen, the Client subsequently:
    • cancels the project;
    • withdraws from the project;
    • decides not to proceed with the manufacture and/or installation of the kitchen; or
    • otherwise instructs Interior Furniture Ltd not to proceed with the project,
the Client shall become liable for the applicable charges for the services already requested and undertaken by Interior Furniture Ltd.
  • 3.3. The applicable charges are:
    • Design Charge: £480 + VAT
    • Site Service Charge: £180 + VAT
    • Design and Site Services: £660 + VAT (£792 including VAT)
  • 3.4. The applicable charge shall depend on the services actually requested and undertaken by Interior Furniture Ltd. Where only one of the above services has been requested and undertaken, only the corresponding charge shall apply. Where both services have been requested and undertaken, the total charge shall be £660 + VAT (£792 including VAT).
  • 3.5. The charges under this section shall only become payable if the Client subsequently cancels, withdraws from, or otherwise decides not to proceed with the kitchen project. If the Client proceeds with the manufacture and/or installation of the kitchen through Interior Furniture Ltd, the charges under this section shall not be separately payable.
  • 3.6. For the purposes of this section, the Client shall be deemed to have proceeded with the kitchen when the Client has provided Interior Furniture Ltd with a clear instruction or confirmation to proceed with the manufacture of the kitchen and has paid any deposit or other payment required by Interior Furniture Ltd for the kitchen to proceed to production.
  • 3.7. A separate written statement confirming approval of the final design, quotation, or specification is not required for this section to apply. The relevant consideration is whether the Client has requested the applicable services and subsequently decides not to proceed with the kitchen project.
  • 3.8. The Client's request or instruction for the relevant services may be made verbally, in writing, electronically, or by any other reasonable means from which it is clear that the Client has instructed or authorised Interior Furniture Ltd to undertake those services.
  • 3.9. Where a service has been partially undertaken at the time the Client cancels, withdraws, or decides not to proceed, Interior Furniture Ltd may charge a reasonable proportion of the applicable fee based on the work undertaken up to the date of cancellation.
  • 3.10. Any amount already paid by the Client specifically towards the relevant services shall be credited against the applicable charge and shall not be charged again.
  • 3.11. The charges under this section relate to services requested and work undertaken by Interior Furniture Ltd and are payable in addition to any other amounts properly due under these Terms and Conditions, including any costs relating to materials, fabrication, procurement, delivery, or other work already undertaken or committed to on the Client's behalf.

4. QUOTATIONS

  • 4.1. All quotations issued by Interior Furniture Ltd are subject to the information available to the Company at the time the quotation is prepared.

  • 4.3. Any measurements or dimensions provided by the Client, including approximate measurements provided by telephone, email, message, or other communication, are provided for quotation purposes only and must not be treated as final measurements.
  • 4.4. Final measurements and requirements shall be determined from the relevant kitchen plans, site measurements, templating, or other information reasonably required by Interior Furniture Ltd.
  • 4.5. If final measurements, site conditions, kitchen plans, specifications, access requirements, or other relevant information differ from the information originally provided, Interior Furniture Ltd reserves the right to amend the quotation accordingly.
  • 4.6. Any additional materials, fabrication, labour, installation requirements, remedial work, or other costs arising from differences between the original information and the actual requirements may be charged to the Client, provided such additional charges are communicated and agreed where required.
  • 4.7. Interior Furniture Ltd reserves the right to decline or revise quotations based on quotations, prices, specifications, or information obtained from third-party suppliers, websites, or other sources where the Company considers that the information is inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or no longer applicable.

5. MATERIALS

  • 5.1. Interior Furniture Ltd operates primarily as a fabricator and installer of kitchen worktops and related materials. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Interior Furniture Ltd is not the manufacturer of the materials supplied.
  • 5.2. Materials may be supplied from third-party manufacturers and suppliers. The material itself remains subject to the manufacturer's applicable specifications, care instructions, limitations, warranty, and terms.
  • 5.3. The Client is responsible for selecting the material, colour, pattern, finish, thickness, edge profile, and other aesthetic or product characteristics before fabrication.
  • 5.4. Interior Furniture Ltd will provide reasonable information regarding the selected material and, where applicable, provide the Client with the relevant manufacturer's details and care and maintenance information.
  • 5.5. The Client acknowledges that natural and manufactured materials may contain variations in colour, pattern, veining, texture, shade, aggregate distribution, and other characteristics. Such variations may not constitute a defect where they are consistent with the nature and specification of the material.
  • 5.6. The Client is responsible for reviewing and confirming the suitability of the selected material for the intended application. Where the Client is unsure about the suitability of a material, the Client should seek appropriate advice before confirming the order.
  • 5.7. Once the Client has selected and confirmed the material, Interior Furniture Ltd will proceed on the basis of that selection. Any subsequent request to change the material may result in additional costs, delays, or cancellation charges, depending on the stage of the order.
  • 5.8. Where a material is subject to a manufacturer's warranty, any warranty is provided by the relevant manufacturer in accordance with the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms.

6. DAMAGE, DEFECTS AND CARE OF MATERIALS

  • 6.1. Interior Furniture Ltd shall be responsible for damage to materials caused directly by the Company's fabrication or installation activities, subject to the terms of these Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
  • 6.2. Where damage is identified following installation, the Client should notify Interior Furniture Ltd as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs and any other information reasonably requested.
  • 6.3. Interior Furniture Ltd may inspect the material and, where appropriate, liaise with the relevant manufacturer or supplier to establish whether the issue arises from a manufacturing defect, material fault, installation issue, accidental damage, misuse, or another cause.
  • 6.4. Where a manufacturer is responsible for assessing a material defect, the manufacturer's assessment and applicable warranty terms shall apply. Interior Furniture Ltd will provide reasonable assistance in communicating with the manufacturer where appropriate.
  • 6.5. Where a manufacturer determines that the material itself is defective and agrees that the material is covered under its warranty, any replacement or remedy shall be subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and procedures.
  • 6.6. Once a matter has been referred to the relevant manufacturer for assessment under its warranty, Interior Furniture Ltd's responsibility shall be limited to matters relating to its own fabrication or installation services, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.
  • 6.7. Interior Furniture Ltd shall not be responsible for damage, staining, marking, discolouration, deterioration, or other issues arising after installation from improper use, inadequate cleaning or maintenance, accidental damage, impact, exposure to unsuitable substances, excessive heat, chemicals, standing water, or other conditions outside the Company's reasonable control.
  • 6.8. The Client is responsible for following the care and maintenance instructions provided for the relevant material.
  • 6.9. Where the property has hard water or other water-quality conditions that may contribute to water marks, staining, deposits, discolouration, or deterioration of the material, the Client is responsible for addressing those conditions and following the manufacturer's recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures.
  • 6.10. The Client should inform Interior Furniture Ltd of any known environmental, structural, plumbing, electrical, water-quality, access, or other site conditions that may affect the material or installation before work commences.
  • 6.11. Interior Furniture Ltd shall not be responsible for damage caused by the Client, the Client's contractors, tradespeople, occupants, visitors, or any third party following installation.

7. WARRANTY

  • 7.1. Interior Furniture Ltd's responsibility is limited to the fabrication and installation services provided by the Company, subject to these Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
  • 7.2. Where the material is manufactured by a third party, any manufacturer's warranty applies directly from the relevant manufacturer and is subject to that manufacturer's warranty terms, exclusions, limitations, and procedures.
  • 7.3. Interior Furniture Ltd does not provide a separate manufacturer's warranty for materials manufactured by third parties unless expressly stated in writing.
  • 7.4. Interior Furniture Ltd will provide the Client with reasonable information regarding the manufacturer of the selected material and, where available, the relevant care, maintenance, and warranty information.
  • 7.5. Where registration of a manufacturer's warranty is required, it is the Client's responsibility to provide the manufacturer with any information required to register the warranty in the Client's name.
  • 7.6. Where a Client believes that a material is defective, the Client should notify Interior Furniture Ltd promptly. Interior Furniture Ltd may inspect the material and, where appropriate, refer the matter to the relevant manufacturer for assessment under its warranty procedure.
  • 7.7. A manufacturer's decision as to whether a material defect is covered by its warranty shall be subject to the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms. This does not affect the Client's statutory rights or any rights arising from Interior Furniture Ltd's own services.
  • 7.8. Interior Furniture Ltd may update its procedures, care guidance, and these Terms and Conditions where necessary to reflect changes to manufacturers' specifications, warranties, products, or requirements. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions shall not retrospectively remove rights already acquired by the Client under an existing contract.

  • 8.2. Where the Client is a consumer, nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects the Client's rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
  • 8.3. Where there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and a specific written agreement or quotation expressly agreed between the Client and Interior Furniture Ltd, the specific agreement or quotation shall take precedence to the extent of the conflict.
  • 8.4. The Client is responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring that the Company is informed of any relevant requirements or restrictions relating to the property, access, installation area, and intended use of the materials.
  • 8.5. These Terms and Conditions, together with the accepted quotation and any agreed written specification, form the basis of the agreement between Interior Furniture Ltd and the Client.

Mark Holland ★★★★★ We had our new kitchen and utility room fitted, with Drini doing all of our worktops From day 1 Drini has been absolutely brilliant, even taking time to visit us at home, He also suggested different Quartz manufactures, rather than just using the best known name, including arranging a visit to one of these so we could see a huge piece, not just a sample. And then kept us fully informed about the progress of the order, the templating, and then the install day The result is stunning Read more
